Shawn Miller is the Chief Executive Officer of Archwest Capital and was most recently a managing director of Redwood Trust. Mr. Miller was a founder and the Chief Executive Officer of 5 Arch Funding Corp. (acquired by Redwood Trust), the parent of a national originator of business purpose mortgage loans and a national asset management company. Prior to this, he founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Arch Bay Capital, LLC and the Chief Executive Officer of 3 Arch Financial Services. He also co-founded the law firm of Miller & Clark, LLP, specializing in bankruptcy, real estate and corporate matters, and was a partner at a prominent Los Angeles-based bankruptcy firm.

Tricia Mitchell is the President & Chief Operating Officer of Archwest Capital and was most recently the Vice President of Legal for 5 Arch Funding Corp. (acquired by Redwood Trust). She has worked together with the founders of Archwest since its inception in 2012 and has been part of the team for almost a decade. Her experience has primarily been in the legal department under the chief legal officer on corporate structuring, complex real estate and finance transactions, capital markets, as well as licensing and regulatory compliance matters.

Timothy Gannaway is the Chief Technology Officer of Archwest Capital and was most recently a Senior Vice President of Redwood Trust. Mr. Gannaway was a founder and the Chief Analytics Officer of 5 Arch Funding Corp. (acquired by Redwood Trust), the parent of a national originator of business purpose mortgage loans and a national asset management company. Prior to this, he founded and served as Chief Analytics Officer of Arch Bay Capital, LLC, responsible for analytics, technology and software development. Previously, he served for six years as Chief Information Officer at RSM EquiCo Investment Bank and had 10 years of experience building business systems to process mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities for Bank of America, Bankers Trust and Deutsche Bank.

Gene Clark is the Chief Legal Officer of Archwest Capital. Mr. Clark was a founder and the Chief Legal Officer of 5 Arch Funding Corp. (acquired by Redwood Trust, with whom he also became an SVP), the parent of a national originator of business purpose mortgage loans and a national asset management company. Prior to this, Mr. Clark co-founded and served as the Chief Operating Officer and general counsel of Arch Bay Capital, LLC, as well as the general counsel of 3 Arch Financial Services. Previously, he worked at a national law firm and joined with Mr. Miller to form Miller & Clark, LLP, a corporate, real estate and bankruptcy law firm.

Nancy Morris is the Chief Financial Officer of Archwest Capital and was most recently a Senior Vice President of Redwood Trust. Ms. Morris was the Senior Vice President, Controller of 5 Arch Funding Corp. (acquired by Redwood Trust), the parent of a national originator of business purpose mortgage loans and a national asset management company. Prior to this, she served as Vice President, Controller at Deutsche Bank and Banker’s Trust for its Corporate Trust division responsible for financial reporting for mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities, SOX controls, and financial due diligence, integration and acting CFO for mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Ms. Morris had 7 years of experience in Big 4 accounting, specializing in real estate and financial services.

Kathy Perez is the Senior Vice President of Closing for Archwest Capital. She has been creating and leading closing teams for BPL lenders for more than 6 years. She previously spent more than 10 years in escrow and title roles with First American and ServiceLink. She has worked together with the founders of Archwest since 2016. She manages the creation and implementation of closing processes and procedures that contribute to a successful, scalable and repeatable business. Her passion to create a collaborative and positive company culture has earned her “Champion Award” and “Employee of the Year” accolades.

Henry Frome is the Senior Vice President of Capital Markets at Archwest Capital. Prior to his time at Archwest, Henry worked on the Multifamily Equity team at Eastdil Secured. His financial experience includes debt and equity structuring for both commercial and residential transactions. Henry is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College with a degree in Economics and Psychology.
